Welcome to CrossFit 315

*****Important Announcement*****

We are excited, albeit with heavy hearts, to announce some upcoming changes at CrossFit 315. As many may already know, Mark, Sunny, and Mani have become increasingly busy in their professional and family life outside of the box. As a result, they have decided to transition out of an ownership role at CrossFit 315. Mark, Mani and Sunny have prepared a personal statement regarding their decision:

“Our decision to sell the business was quite difficult but we want our box to continue to grow and believe the best way to do that was to sell to one of our coaches and members. It was been a wonderful experience for us to start this box, meeting so many people, and helping them to achieve their goals. We will still be a part of the CrossFit 315 family and will always continue to support it as members.”

As the founding owners, Mark, Mani & Sunny, sought to bring in new ownership with credentials that could step in immediately and provide value to the members. The good news is that the search did not last long and quickly, two willing and eager individuals from amongst our own ranks were working on the transition process. CrossFit 315 is proud to announce current head coach Ryan Stoffle and member/coach Brian Allen will be pairing together to lead CrossFit 315. Ryan holds his CrossFit L1 Trainer Certificate, CrossFit Weightlifting Certificate, and has been coaching for 3 years now as well as writing our programming for the last 18 months. Brian has been coaching foundations and assisting with regular classes for 2 years. Not only are they excited about the opportunity to join the ownership team, they are passionate about CrossFit as a whole and the community here at CrossFit 315.

Transitions such as these present a unique opportunity to take a step back and reassess the state of the union. We are proud of what has been built. There is a solid foundation of community, knowledge, skill, talent, and a definitive culture that has been developed over the past 3 years. That said, we’d be remiss if we did not take this opportunity to institute some changes in the spirit of growth and improvement. After all, that’s what CrossFit is all about, right?

The new ownership at CrossFit 315 will be working on enhancing what we already do well here. One thing that should never change is who we are as a community. CrossFit 315 is a tight-knit community of athletes all after the same goals: improved health and individual growth! We want CrossFit 315 to remain open and accepting to athletes of all levels and backgrounds, while continuing to encourage everyone to achieve their personal best. We also want to be visible outside of the box within the local community and will continue to participate in local events.

Over the next several weeks and months, you can expect to see some changes for the better in how we operate. Plans are underway to incorporate new systems including WODify, strategic programming for aspiring endurance athletes, new membership plans and incentives, and CrossFit-centric products at the box. Additionally, the CrossFit 315 coaching staff is continually looking for ways to step up our game. In the near future, we are going to be focusing resources on the continuing education of our coaching staff as we strive for excellence in the service we deliver to our members and community.

This announcement provides a lot of information to digest. We remain committed to our members and community as we continue the good work of providing what we believe is such an invaluable opportunity for people to change their lives for the better through joining CrossFit 315. During this transition, we welcome your thoughts and ideas about improvements you’d like to see here at CrossFit 315. Please reach out via private message, email, or personal conversation to share your thoughts. Though it may not be practical to implement all ideas, rest assured that your voice will be heard and all ideas considered.

In closing, the new ownership has developed a Mission Statement that will be the foundation by which we make our decisions to shape our community:
Mission Statement -
CrossFit 315 is committed to delivering a unique fitness experience to our local community. We pride ourselves in providing a welcoming environment for beginning athletes and those looking to perfect their abilities as a competitive CrossFitter. Our desire is to be recognized as a business that gives back to our local community, is a competitive CrossFit affiliate, provides a clean, professional & positive environment and above all, works hard for our members.

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.

We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

The CrossFit Journal is designed to support the CrossFit community detailing the theory, techniques, and practiced by our coaches in our gym, in essence bringing your garage or gym into ours, making you a part of the CrossFit family.
